Episode Overview
Mr. Crockett brings a freshly rebuilt lawnmower to Winkstead Hall, having just given it a thorough tune-up. However, when Lord Belborough starts it while still in gear, the mower speeds off and crashes into the garden wall and door. In a panic, Lord Belborough calls Mr. Clutterbuck, the builder, asking if he can fix the wall before the weekend. Unfortunately, Mr. Clutterbuck's brick delivery is delayed at Treddles Wharf. Determined, Lord Belborough and Brackett head to the wharf in Bessie to retrieve the bricks. Meanwhile, bricklayers Cyril and Horrace quickly reconstruct the wall, while Chippy Minton and Nibbs craft a new door. Mr. Crockett fixes the mower with several new parts, ensuring everything is ready just in time for the six o'clock dance.
