Episode Overview
In a unique twist, Mark becomes convinced that Leprechauns are hiding gold on the estate. Hardcastle, however, focuses on preparing for an upcoming magazine contest, dismissing Mark's wild theories. When Benny, Mark's mechanic, is attacked by thugs seeking information about little people, Hardcastle starts to reconsider the possibility of Mark's claims. That night, they set a trap for the supposed Leprechauns. To their surprise, they catch the individuals lingering around the estate, only to find out they are actually circus performers. Their leader, Cluracan, explains they are on the run from communist agents and a circus promoter. The gold in question is revealed to be Cluracan's family’s money. The next day, disguised agents arrive, posing as magazine employees, while Marvin and his crew sneak in as well. With the circus performers' help, Hardcastle and McCormick thwart both threats.
