S08E07 Cooking in Wine Country
Episode Overview
Have you ever imagined owning your own winery? Don and Tru Miller turned that dream into reality twelve years ago when they established Adobe Guadalupe in Valle de Guadalupe. This season, Rick gets to fulfill his aspiration of cooking in their beautiful kitchen, featuring a handcrafted wood-fired oven, as he prepares a meal for the Millers and nearby winemakers. He sources fresh produce from the picturesque farm stand at Mogor Baden Winery, artisanal cheeses from the historic Rancho La Campana cheese cave, and breads and olives at the delightful Cremeria los Globos. The evening's menu includes local leg of lamb with a pasilla olive sauce, mixed greens with fresh mussels and fava beans, and luscious strawberries with chamomile sabayon. Truly a dream come true!
