Episode Overview

Martin frees Sydney from the pit and persuades her to stay with him. Meanwhile, Jane and Jake drive to Tucson to rescue her, but she refuses to leave. The next day, when they return, Sydney is horrified when Martin tells her to shoot her sister. Instead, she opens fire at the camp and escapes with Jake and Jane. Kimberly is enraged by Michael's involvement in Amanda's treatment. Matt decides against pursuing a relationship with John. Jo joins John for a ride-along to take photos for an underground magazine and secretly captures him assaulting a drug dealer. She denies witnessing anything, but John retaliates by destroying her apartment. Billy and Alison share a platonic Valentine's Day.
