Episode Overview

Jake's friends, particularly Jo and Amanda, are stunned to hear that the Pretty Lady has blown up. The Coast Guard rescues Jake, who is barely hanging on to a buoy, and he eventually makes it back to the building. Jo feels hurt when Jake completely overlooks her to comfort Amanda, not realizing he’s just delivered the news about Palmer’s death. When Jo opens up to Jake about her feelings, it leads to a fierce argument. Frustrated, he gives his apartment keys to Matt and speeds away on his motorcycle. Meanwhile, Alison is appalled to see Billy starting a relationship with their new secretary. Jane and Chris urge Sydney to claim Michael’s portion of the design firm in the divorce, but Michael cleverly tricks her into accepting only $5000.
