While repairs are underway in their building, Jane, Sydney, and Jo find themselves with temporary roommates. Meanwhile, Jake spirals into a drinking binge as he grapples with his brother's recent death. Amanda reaches out to Alison, inviting her back to their D&D group. Peter tries to persuade Kimberly to fake insanity to secure a lighter sentence, but she stands her ground. During a psychiatric assessment, Kimberly lashes out at a doctor and threatens to jump from the roof, but Peter manages to talk her down with an insincere declaration of love. Michael and Peter decide to start their own practice together. Brooke is upset when her inheritance falls short of her expectations.
