Episode Overview

Sister Ulrica reunites with the other women and offers support to Dorothy, who learns of her mother's passing and decides to return to England. Meanwhile, Clifford and Marion have grown increasingly distant; he avoids discussing the camps, while that's all she wants to share. Mrs. Van Meyer discovers that her husband is presumed dead, leaving her without access to his finances and in dire straits. Marion confronts Clifford for invading her privacy by reading her diary, realizing that the other internees understand her better than he does. Jake extends an invitation to Maggie to stay with him, while Bea reveals to Marion that she is losing her sight and is tricked into volunteering at the center by Joss. Jake also provides Joss with free medicine for the center’s needs.
