Episode Overview
The military begins interrogating the women for evidence against Yamauchi and his associates regarding war crimes. Bea loses her composure, while Mrs. Van Meyer spins numerous falsehoods. Maggie shares a heartfelt account of Blanche's death, stirring emotions. Meanwhile, Joss is taken into custody for being with Christina's uncle. Clifford informs Marion that Yamauchi is in Singapore, and Stephen reveals his plans to stay there to manage a center, hoping Joss will return to assist him. Marion, Christina, and Sister Ulrica all refuse to testify against Yamauchi, leading everyone, including Sister Ulrica and Mrs. Van Meyer, to question their actions and statements from the camps.
