Innova prompts Zagato to take his shot at eliminating the girls, and he complies. During Cephiro's initial storm, the girls seek shelter in a cave near the sky shrine, where another Machine is hidden. Fuu grows anxious about Ferrio and pulls out her communicator, only to receive a call from him. He informs them that he's close by and wishes to join them. As Ferrio approaches the cave, he spots a girl on the ground clutching an herb. Fuu's heart races at the sight of Ferrio, but her excitement turns to disappointment when she sees him carrying another girl. The girl awakens and introduces herself as Selah, explaining that she lives at the mountain's base and needs the herb to help her ailing brother. They settle in to rest, though Fuu struggles to sleep. Just as she plans to speak to Ferrio, Selah beats her to it. Ferrio offers Selah some soup, and she eagerly accepts, suggesting they
