Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures (1990)
S01E11 Never The Twain Shall Meet
Episode Overview
Bill and Ted are thrown into a panic when Mr. Ryan informs them of their expulsion from school. Fearing Ted's dad's reaction, they plead for another chance. Mr. Ryan agrees, but only if they can secure an impressive speaker for Career Day the next day. At the Kozy Korner, they brainstorm and decide to summon Shakespeare and Mark Twain. Their journey takes them to England, where they inadvertently disrupt the opening of Romeo and Juliet and encourage Shakespeare to embrace his true self. After a chaotic detour in California involving a flume and frogs, they mistakenly summon Samuel Clemens instead of Twain. Despite the mayhem, Clemens is inspired to write a story, while Bill and Ted return empty-handed. In a last-ditch effort, they convince the mayor to speak, impressing Mr. Ryan enough to save their academic futures.
