The Untouchables (1959)

Episode Overview

In the fall of 1934, an armored truck filled with special paper for U.S. currency is en route to the Bureau of Engraving in Washington, D.C. However, the vehicle is ambushed, and the three armed guards are brutally shot down with tommy guns. Given the national implications of counterfeiting, this crime falls under federal jurisdiction. Eliot Ness, along with five federal agents from various states, gathers in Washington to receive a briefing on the alarming situation.
