Episode Overview
On March 4, 1933, Chicago is bustling with excitement as preparations for the Century of Progress Exposition, better known as the Chicago World's Fair, are underway. In a shocking turn of events, the affluent Endicott brothers, who owned several franchises at the Fair, are murdered one after another. Restaurant owner Gus Dmytryk approaches the Licensing Committee and learns that he is likely to acquire the Endicott's former franchises, which include three nightclubs at the Midway and five additional concessions. This opportunity could be incredibly lucrative, as the Fair is anticipated to attract around 50 million visitors.
