The Untouchables (1959)
S03E24 The Ginnie Littlesmith Story
Episode Overview
On May 17, 1932, Chicago is dotted with free soup kitchens, but one located in skid row serves as a cover for something far more sinister. Above the kitchen, gangster Chiz Gosher, a two-time convict for white slavery, operates his business. His accomplice, Vic Cassandros, represents a powerful national vice ring called The Group. Chiz's niece, Ginnie Littlesmith, manages the soup kitchen and has no connection to her uncle's criminal activities. Meanwhile, Enrico Rossi is undercover in tattered clothes, preparing for a raid and alerting Eliot Ness that it’s scheduled for 12:45. However, Vic soon learns of the plan and rushes upstairs to confront Gosher for the ledger books.
