The Untouchables (1959)

Episode Overview

On February 4, 1934, in New York City, Ness and his Untouchables are reaping the rewards of three months of hard investigation as they finally corner “Smiley” Barris in an upper floor of an Eastside tenement. With the support of local law enforcement and some tear gas, they manage to capture him. However, a hidden sniper, positioned on a nearby rooftop, has other plans. As he takes aim at Smiley, his bullet tragically strikes and kills the officer standing next to him instead.
