Episode Overview

Joe Norton is wreaking havoc by destroying pots in Nick and Kate's garden. Nearby, a gypsy named Flo sets up camp close to Greengrass' place, but he reacts negatively when she offers him some lucky heather, prompting Flo to cast a 'hex' on him. Claude becomes convinced the hex is real as everything starts going wrong, leading him to seek an 'unhexing.' Meanwhile, Kate receives troubling news from a blood test she took under an alias, but she chooses to keep it to herself. Joe then sets fire to Flo's caravan, and when Nick tries to apprehend him, Joe assaults him. In the neighborhood, clothes are mysteriously disappearing from washing lines. As Kate goes into labor, she arrives at the hospital where baby Sarah is quickly born. Nick is thrilled, but his joy turns to despair when Kate reveals she has leukaemia.
