**Title: Ice Storm** **Plot:** Chief Pilot AJ Decoste is at the controls of Buffalo's latest Electra, XFC, navigating the Mackenzie Valley for its inaugural flight. Accompanying him is mechanic Cory Dodd, who is honing his skills as a Flight Engineer. They aim to complete their deliveries before a looming storm hits, but upon landing in Norman Wells, they confront fierce winds. A delay caused by two arriving planes forces AJ to shut down and wait out the weather. As they approach Tulita, the winds intensify to over 40 knots. Meanwhile, in Hay River, a warm front threatens a rare ice storm, prompting rampies to secure the DC-3s for a long, turbulent night—the worst in half a century. New rampie CJ Asaf struggles to find his place, and Rampie Prefkar, tasked with his training on the Hay River route, finds CJ’s attitude challenging.
