Rawhide (1959)

Episode Overview

Emma Teall and her sister Betsy are tracking the buffalo herd, but Ryan and his group of forty buffalo hunters block their passage, determined to corral the animals first. Rowdy gives Ryan a three-day ultimatum. Wish instructs Mushy to take down two calves, but Emma intervenes and takes the calves from him. He warns that there might be three more to deal with later. Wish also reports that the milk cows have vanished, having followed the calves back to Emma’s camp. The drovers then upend her wagon, prompting Emma to fire a warning shot. Meanwhile, Billy Wallace, a buffalo hunter, confronts Betsy and becomes aggressive with Emma when she objects.
