Martha finds herself in a tough situation as she defends the driver of a high-security prison van. After a group of prisoners escapes, Michael Ward discovers one of them dead inside the van. With both Ward and the security firm facing blame for the death, Martha is determined to help him assert his innocence before he becomes the scapegoat. Meanwhile, Chambers welcomes a new student, Daniel Lomas, who aids Martha in gaining crucial insights for her case.
