Episode Overview

Kate has returned but wants to make her job swap with Penny a permanent arrangement. Geoff pleads with her to stay until Chris returns from Sydney, though he withholds the reason for Chris's trip, which frustrates Kate further. A plane crashes on Robert Morton's land, involving two young women. Chris is urgently summoned back from her Sydney visit, and she and Geoff head to the crash site. They can’t save one of the sisters, Kerry, but manage to rescue Sandra. It’s revealed that the sisters lived with Robert, who couldn’t choose between them and refused to marry either. Meanwhile, Sam is busy with emergencies during shearing season, leaving Emma to handle the property. Initially, Maggie assists her, but then steps back, forcing Emma to figure things out. Later, Emma approaches Sam, eager to learn how to fly.
