Jed
Jed, born in 1977, was a remarkable animal actor known for his unique hybrid heritage as a Vancouver Island wolf-Alaskan Malamute. Although his filmography was brief, Jed left a lasting impression in the entertainment industry. His training came from Clint Rowe, a seasoned animal trainer who played a significant role in the production of the films featuring Jed, including his notable involvement in the classic movie Turner and Hooch.
Jed's most prominent work came with his role in Disney's sequel to White Fang, which showcased his impressive abilities and charisma on screen. Following the completion of this project, Jed found a permanent home with Rowe in Acton, California, where he lived until his passing in June 1995.
