In the 1930s, the illustrious conductor Wilhelm Furtwängler, celebrated for his talent, stood alongside Toscanini in fame. However, following World War II, he became the subject of scrutiny during the Allies' de-Nazification efforts. In the devastated landscape of post-war Berlin, the Allies begin to restore order in occupied Germany. Major Steve Arnold, an American officer, is assigned to delve into Furtwängler’s past, tasked with uncovering incriminating evidence against him. With little knowledge of the world he’s entering, Arnold embarks on a rigorous investigation, determined to pursue justice.
