Carlos Carrasco

Carlos Carrasco, born in Panama City, Panama, embarked on his artistic journey in the United States after receiving an acting scholarship to Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. He further honed his craft at the University of Illinois and Wayne State University in Detroit. Carrasco made his mark in the theater scene with his Broadway debut in the production of "The National Health" at the Circle-in-the-Square Theater.

His career in theater flourished as he appeared in numerous regional productions across the country, showcasing his talent at prestigious venues such as Hartford Stage Company, Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, and the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.

In addition to his acting pursuits, Carrasco has made significant contributions to arts administration. He served as the Executive Director of the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors in New York, where he worked to elevate the representation of Latin artists in the industry. His expertise was recognized when he became a panelist for the New York State Council on the Arts. Furthermore, he co-directed the JACK Arts Ensemble in Los Angeles, further demonstrating his commitment to the performing arts.
