Danny Aiello
Daniel Louis Aiello Jr. (June 20, 1933 – December 12, 2019) was a distinguished American actor known for his memorable roles in a plethora of iconic films. His career, spanning several decades, featured notable performances in classics such as The Godfather Part II (1974), The Front (1976), and Once Upon a Time in America (1984). Aiello's versatility shone through in films like The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985), Moonstruck (1987), and Harlem Nights (1989), where he showcased his ability to navigate both comedic and dramatic roles.
One of his most acclaimed performances came in Spike Lee's groundbreaking film Do the Right Thing (1989), where he portrayed Salvatore "Sal" Frangione."
