Devon’s journey into the spotlight began while she was working at a local pizzeria in Redding, Pennsylvania. A co-worker mentioned the amateur night at Al's Diamond Cabaret, sparking her interest in performing. Intrigued by the idea of dancing nude to her favorite music for a more lucrative income, she auditioned for the very next contest and captivated the audience, securing a first-place victory that marked the start of her new career.

For the next three years, Devon graced the stage at Al's, connecting with some of the biggest names in the adult entertainment industry. Driven by her ambition and passion for recognition, she filmed her first gonzo production, which she submitted to a major distributor. This endeavor led to her featuring on the cover of Club magazine and ultimately being named Penthouse Pet in January 2001.

Devon’s performances were nothing short of spectacular, often topping best-seller lists. In January 2002, her collaboration with Digital Playground, “Virtual Sex with Devon,” won the AVN award for Best Interactive DVD, marking her first significant accolade. Recognizing her exceptional talent, Digital Playground’s founder, Joone, signed her to an exclusive contract. Following this, she starred in Nic Andrew's directorial debut, “Devon Stripped,” which received critical acclaim and solidified her status as a rising star in the industry.
