Julien Guiomar
Julien Guiomar was born on May 3, 1928, in Morlaix, Finistère, Brittany, and passed away on November 22, 2010, in Agen, Lot-et-Garonne, Aquitaine. He was a renowned French film actor, best remembered for his memorable roles across various cinematic classics. Notably, he portrayed Colonel Vincent in the comedy "Papy fait de la résistance" and Jacques Tricatel in "L'Aile ou la cuisse." In addition, he donned the uniform of a police colonel in Costa-Gavras's acclaimed film "Z."
Later in life, Guiomar retired to the picturesque region of Dordogne, settling in the charming town of Monpazier. His passing at the age of 82 was due to heart disease, occurring during the night of November 21-22 at the Saint-Hilaire clinic, where he had been receiving medical care.
