Eli Herschel Wallach (December 7, 1915 – June 24, 2014) was a distinguished American actor known for his impactful performances across film, television, and stage. Wallach rose to prominence in the late 1950s, earning critical acclaim for his role in "Baby Doll," which garnered him a BAFTA Award for Best Newcomer and a nomination for a Golden Globe. He is perhaps best remembered for his unforgettable portrayal of Tuco in the iconic spaghetti western "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (1966).
