Plot
In "The Associate," Laurel Ayres is a determined businesswoman who finds herself overshadowed at an investment firm, where her hard work is constantly appropriated by senior partners like Frank Peterson. Frustrated, she decides to embark on her own venture, launching her own firm. To attract clients, Laurel concocts a fictional male partner named Robert Cutty. As her business flourishes, the demand to meet Cutty grows, presenting a challenge since he is merely a figment of her imagination. Laurel must navigate the complexities of her deception while striving for success in a male-dominated industry.
