Harvey Lembeck
Harvey Lembeck (April 15, 1923 – January 5, 1982) was a prominent American comedic actor, celebrated for his memorable performances in television and film. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Cpl. Rocco Barbella on the iconic series The Phil Silvers Show, known to many as Sgt. Bilko, during the late 1950s. Lembeck's comedic talent continued to shine through in the 1960s, particularly as the bumbling and overly self-assured biker, Eric Von Zipper, in the popular beach party film series. His versatility as a performer was evident in his notable roles in both the stage and film adaptations of Stalag 17, showcasing his range beyond comedy.
