Plot

While enjoying a ride on his pony Sinoya, young Clay Gibson stumbles upon the hideout of notorious killer Tris Hatten. He quickly informs Sheriff Adams, who advises him to keep quiet about his discovery. Ignoring this warning, Clay confides in his father, who suspects Adams of seeking glory and publicly accuses him in the newspaper. This reckless move puts Clay in grave danger, as Tris' vengeful girlfriend, Winnie, hires a hitman to eliminate him. Tension escalates as the young boy navigates the fallout from his father's actions.
