The Birdmen (1973)

Plot

Amid WWII chaos, an American soldier is dispatched to Norway to assist a scientist involved in Germany's atomic bomb project. Their plan is thwarted when they are captured and imprisoned in a remote alpine castle. As the Gestapo closes in on the scientist's identity, the soldier, known as Cook, rallies fellow prisoners to construct a two-person glider for their daring escape.
