Plot

A condemned man on the brink of execution reflects on the tumultuous events that sealed his fate. Through flashbacks, we discover his life entangled with a cunning dancehall girl, played by Vivienne Osborne, who manipulates the high-rise riveter, Edward G. Robinson, into marrying her for financial gain. As he spirals into unemployment and mental instability, she takes on the role of provider, flaunting her dominance over him. Their relationship deteriorates under the weight of resentment and humiliation, ultimately pushing him to a breaking point that leads to tragic consequences.
