Plot

Vincent, a prosperous real estate agent, joins his sister Elizabeth and her academic husband Peter for dinner in Paris. They are joined by Claude, a childhood friend and trombonist. During the evening, Vincent reveals the name he and his wife Anna have chosen for their unborn son, igniting outrage among the group. What begins as a simple dinner quickly spirals into a heated argument, unearthing long-buried resentments and secrets among the friends and family, ultimately challenging their relationships and revealing deeper truths about their lives.
