Plot
Scots officer Geoffrey Richter-Douglas finds himself torn as World War I erupts. Though loyal to Britain, his Bavarian lineage and fond childhood summers in Germany complicate his allegiance. When approached by a German spy with a defection offer, Geoffrey chooses to inform his superiors, who surprisingly encourage him to accept her proposal and become an Allied agent.
