Plot
Chanticleer, an overly confident rooster, is convinced that his crowing is responsible for the sunrise. However, when dawn breaks without his signature call, he feels humiliated and flees the farm to pursue a career as a rock 'n' roll star. Meanwhile, his departure allows a malevolent owl, intent on extinguishing the sun, to plot his takeover. As darkness looms, Chanticleer must confront his fears and reclaim his place to save the farm from impending doom.
