During December 1944, esteemed American conductor Lionel Evans finds himself on a USO tour in liberated Belgium with his 70-piece orchestra. Their joy turns to terror when a German Panzer division captures them amidst a counterattack, whisking them away to a secluded chateau in Luxembourg. As grim orders loom to execute all prisoners, General Schiller, a passionate admirer of music, intervenes. He insists on a private concert from Evans, forcing the conductor to navigate the dangerous intersection of artistry and survival in a war-torn landscape.
