Plot

Amid the turmoil of the Civil War in Wyoming, horse traders Joan Britton and Stephen Cook vie to provide horses for the Union Army. Meanwhile, a Cherokee instigates conflict by rallying the Sioux against Union forces, coinciding with Cook's plan to pilfer a herd of Sioux horses. Former army doctor Jonathan Westgate stands against Cook's unethical tactics while also competing for Joan's heart. As tensions rise, Westgate emerges as the sole figure capable of averting an impending war between the settlers and the Sioux.
