Battle Troop (1944)

Plot

Three skilled IJN pilots, Mikami (Susumu Fujita), Kawakami (Masayuki Mori), and Murakami (Akitake Kono), share a deep friendship and a reputation for their exceptional torpedo skills. Mikami serves as a staff officer on a remote Pacific island, where his comrades later join him as reinforcements arrive at their base. As an enemy task force threatens the island, the trio launches a daring assault against the fleet, ultimately sacrificing their lives in a courageous act of loyalty and valor. Their heroics underscore the bonds of camaraderie amid the chaos of war.
