Plot

In 1959, a newly hatched turtle named Sammy scurries across a Baja, California beach, narrowly escaping predators like seagulls and crabs. This marks the start of an extraordinary fifty-year journey across the ocean, where Sammy faces numerous challenges, from natural threats to human interference, all in pursuit of his dream to explore the world.
