Plot
Homer Smith, the resourceful handyman from the original 'Lilies of the Field,' returns to the Arizona desert, finding himself back at the chapel he once helped construct for a group of German nuns led by the steadfast Mother Maria. Now faced with a new challenge, he is drawn into assisting the nuns once again, despite his initial reluctance. Their heartfelt bond and shared history come to the forefront as they navigate this latest obstacle together, blending themes of faith, community, and redemption during the holiday season.
