Plot

Set against the vibrant backdrop of late 1950s London, this musical brings Colin MacInnes' novel to life. Nineteen-year-old photographer Colin is infatuated with the glamorous model Crepe Suzette, whose ambitions in the fashion industry dictate her love life. In a bid to win her heart, Colin partners with a pop promoter, hoping to achieve fame and fortune. As he navigates the music scene, he also faces the growing racial tensions within his Notting Hill neighborhood, which add further complexity to his aspirations and relationships.
