Plot

A lounge singer in Reno becomes a witness to a mob killing, prompting law enforcement to hide her in a convent for her safety. The mother superior is suspicious of her presence and tries to curb her impact on the other sisters. However, the singer revitalizes the struggling choir and engages in local community initiatives, leading to a television interview that inadvertently reveals her location to the mob.
