Mission: Impossible (1966)

Episode Overview

Rollin, posing as Wayne, secretly orders the execution of Jim, who is pretending to be a federal investigator, without the Syndicate Council's consent. As a diversion from Jim's murder, Rollin sneaks into the Syndicate headquarters to copy their financial records. The Council, angered by "Wayne's" unilateral actions and the media attention the murder has drawn, sentences him to death. Rollin attempts to flee but at the last moment swaps places with the genuine Wayne, who has undergone plastic surgery to resemble him. Johnny, the hitman, kills Wayne, and the copied records lead to the Syndicate's downfall.
