Walter DuBruis, a criminal financier operating in Africa, has struck a deal with counterfeiter Rag Tagoor to distribute counterfeit currency that will destabilize the pro-Western nation of Ghalea. Since DuBruis operates outside the law without solid evidence against him, the IMF aims to dismantle his operations. Cinnamon catches DuBruis's interest by claiming her husband has discovered a new copper vein, prompting him to consider purchasing copper stock. To fund his investment, DuBruis learns that Rollin is also a counterfeiter after Rollin fakes an epileptic seizure. They agree on a deal where Rollin will create $5 million in counterfeit money using DuBruis's $3 million as a sample. With Barney supplying specialized paper and a fake machine, the plan appears to succeed, but Barney cleverly swaps DuBruis's genuine cash with counterfeit bills. As DuBruis begins to buy up all the copper shares, he draws the attention of the foreign minister.
