Episode Overview
John Darcy, known as 'Kitara', heads a liberation group in Bocamo but is captured by the merciless Colonel Kohler. Kohler intends to torture Kitara to force him to reveal his identity, which would spell disaster for the movement. Kohler is on the hunt for a truck filled with government gold bullion that Kitara has taken. Meanwhile, agents Jim and Doug are working from the outside, while Barney, also in captivity, manages to learn the bullion's location from Kitara and relays it to Jim. Doug warns Kohler about a fictitious disease, "lamposa hycondra," that supposedly turns black individuals white. After taking a shower rigged by the IMF, Kohler wakes up to find he's turned black overnight. Dana, posing as a reporter, introduces him to a shopkeeper named Paris, who claims to have evidence that Kohler's grandfather was black.
