Episode Overview

Stu Gorman, a prominent figure in the music industry affiliated with the Syndicate, is plotting to dominate the sector alongside his financial advisor, Belker. The IMF is determined to thwart his plans, especially since they know Gorman murdered a witness named Judy to silence her. To infiltrate Gorman's operation, Barney auditions for him with a song called "Judy's Gone Now," claiming he possesses a recording of Gorman's crime. As Barney extorts money from Gorman, Willy rigs Belker's car to explode, pretending to work for Gorman. Belker is led to Jim, whom he believes is a corrupt cop with the recording, and they decide to blackmail Gorman together. The IMF provides Belker with a fake tape of Judy's murder, but when he confronts Gorman, the latter recognizes the ruse and admits to the crime. Just as Gorman attempts to eliminate Belker, the police arrive, capturing Gorman's confession on tape.
