Episode Overview
The Syndicate is in the process of bribing a high-ranking politician known as "C6," using operatives Harry Fife and his lethal associate, Jenkins. The IMF needs to uncover C6's identity and gather incriminating evidence. Concerned that a recently killed IMF agent might have been too close to the truth, Jenkins suggests bringing in a new courier, Jean Royce. Barney steps in for Jenkins, while Casey takes on the role of Royce. Fife hands Casey a bag of explosives meant for C6 to silence him permanently. When Barney discovers the plan, he is injured but manages to alert Jim and Willy, only for the tracer to be accidentally destroyed. Jim lets Jenkins slip away to inform C6, then confronts Fife as a Syndicate leader, insisting C6 must remain alive. Jenkins warns C6 and exposes Casey as an agent, but Jim tracks the call, and Willy rushes in to rescue Casey just in time.
