Philip Ober

Philip Nott Ober (March 23, 1902 – September 13, 1982) was an accomplished American actor known for his performances on both stage and screen. Following a successful career in acting, he eventually shifted his focus to diplomacy.

Ober is particularly recognized for his performances in the classic films From Here to Eternity (1953) and North by Northwest (1959).
