Bobs Watson, a prominent figure from the renowned Watson family, made a significant mark in the early days of Hollywood, which was filled with child actors. Born into a family of performers, he shared the spotlight with his siblings Coy Jr., Harry, Billy, Delmar, Garry, Vivian, Gloria, and Louise, all of whom contributed to the film industry.

The Watson family, often referred to as "the first family of Hollywood," resided in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, where Bobs attended Belmont High School. Their legacy was immortalized when they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located at 6674 Hollywood Blvd., acknowledging their contributions to cinema.

Bobs Watson is best remembered for his portrayal of "Pee Wee" in the beloved 1938 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film Boys Town and its sequel Men of Boys Town (1941), featuring Spencer Tracy and Mickey Rooney. His friendship with Tracy blossomed during filming, and Watson was one of the last people to visit Tracy before his passing in 1967. In 1939, Watson delivered a moving performance as Pud, the grandson of Lionel Barrymore, in On Borrowed Time. He later graced many television shows, including The Twilight Zone, Lou Grant, The Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, and The Fugitive.

Beyond acting, Watson pursued a calling in ministry, inspired by Boys Town, and served as a Methodist minister for three decades in Burbank and La Cañada, California. He passed away from prostate cancer in 1999 in Laguna Beach, California.
