Plot
Keterlyn, the fiancée of apothecary Melchior, witnesses a brutal attack on a young man suffering from amnesia. As Melchior investigates, a mysterious ring points him toward a secretive nocturnal brotherhood, while a troupe of odd performers raises further questions. Dark omens indicate that the amnesiac is not the only one in danger; Melchior and Keterlyn face peril as well. Tensions escalate with the arrival of a ruthless inquisitor, who suspects Melchior’s uncanny abilities to communicate with the dead mark him as a heretic. As threats loom, survival becomes a race against time.
