Plot

Amidst the turmoil of autumn 1944 Estonia, countless individuals flee their homeland from the encroaching frontline. As villages along the coast stand deserted, a young woman named Eetla, with striking grey eyes, makes a fateful decision. Stepping off the last boat, she relinquishes her opportunity to escape and braves the harsh September elements. Eetla's unexpected arrival at the lighthouse surprises her father, Gottfrid, the keeper. This poignant return sparks a journey of self-discovery and recognition for Eetla, forcing her to confront her identity amid the chaos surrounding her.
